I have no personal experience with this company however the CEO of ForexVPS Paul Walsh got in touch with Mark and agreed to conduct an interview. So as an exception this time I post our interview instead of review here. I hope it will be helpful for you.
Paul, please tell us more about your company? Are you regulated? Where are the servers located? When did you start to work online? Is it reliable?

Do you provide preinstalled metatraders?
Yes, we do provide metatrader preinstalled and more than 30 other choices available from our download area. More are being added as we learn of them or on request of customers.
What are the advantages of using your service?
The advantages of using our services are:
- 99.99% uptime (That is 53 minutes downtime a year) (most only offer 99.9% uptime, which is 8.8 hours of downtime in a year)
- Freedom to install any EA and the ability to use any choice of broker.
- Access to an in house MetaTrader expert.
- Very low latency to brokers (8 ms to ItradeFX for example, compared to 130 ms if you used a home broadband connection.) Lower latency means orders get to the broker faster.

- You can run as many platforms and EA's as you wish. The only limit on how much memory is chosen. For example no point installing 9 metatraders on the $35 plan as it would run out of memory, but if the Ultimate plan was chosen that will not be an issue.
Why is your service so expensive comparing to other similar services?
We are not expensive compared to other services. Our prices start from $35 a month.Here are some prices for the competition for similar services: Forex Hoster - $69.95; Commercial Network Services - $65 Most people are not aware, but a lot of companies oversell their host server (a host server is used to hold all the VPS's). A typical example is buying a Host Server with a low amount of RAM and stuffing say 40 VPS's on each Host Server. Assuming each VPS is "sold" with 512 RAM. The host server requires a minimum of 20 GB ram to guarantee each VPS gets 512 ram. A lot of companies cheat by only getting a server with 10 GB ram and still put 40 VPS on each server, therefore people who buy the VPS really only get half of what they paid for, although they might not be aware of it. As you can guess, this means a significant performance hit. ForexVPS does not do that.
Another example is buying a host server with low speciation processor's and if one person uses a lot of CPU time everyone else's VPS will be "slow". ForexVPS only puts 20 VPS's on each server, guaranteeing everybody exactly what they pay for, and the ability to upgrade without affecting anybody else. With ForexVPS here is the minimum specification of each of our Hardware Server's for VPS's:
- Intel Xeon X5460 Harpertown 3.16GHz LGA 771 120W Quad-Core Processor (we got 4 of these Intel Xeon X5460 in each server, so that is equivalent to 16 processors in each server)
- 64 GB memory in each server. Since we only put a maximum of 20 VPS's on each server, everybody is guaranteed the resources they pay for, plus there is capacity for each VPS to upgrade on demand up to 3100 MB memory each without downtime or overselling.
- 8 X SATA II discs in a RAID config (stripped and mirrored)
- Daily backups (clients can make their own backups whenever they like as well as our own backups)

How many metatraders can one install per vps?
People can install as many metatraders as they like up to the limit of the memory they chose for each plan.
